Welcome toGardening Defined
A garden not only brings beauty and value to any home, it also brings health benefits to the homeowner. It’s a balm for the soul, a place for meditation and relaxation. And we can all use a little of that these days. So-called “lifestyle diseases”, such as heart disease, diabetes, depression, and stroke, are a major public health issue.
As a homeowner, you stand back, look at your yard, or even your rooftop deck, and you see nothing but potential, a place for trees, flowers, bushes, herbs, vegetables, soil, water, air, light – a landscape for positive emotion.
A garden might be something you associate with a warm childhood memory involving a parent or relative, maybe it was an enjoyable part-time job as a teen, or perhaps it’s just admiration for a neighbour’s garden, something both natural and well-constructed, lush and alive.
A garden is also hard work. It’s physical labour. It’s taxing. It can even be intimidating at the outset, depending on the size and scope of the project. But like anything that involves work, it can also be immensely rewarding, and that feeling of reward is on an endless loop, especially when summer comes.
That’s where I come in. You might need someone who will listen and understand your vision, what you are looking to achieve, with the experience and passion to help you achieve it. I will be with you the entire way.
Gardening Defined is where you come for one-on-one consultation to help you get there.
